How much space do you need?

We typically need a performance area of 5x3 metres, but we are able to work with a minimum area of 4x2 metres if space is more limited. We’ve performed in all types of venue, from manor houses and hotels, to barns, marquees, ball rooms and intimate clubs so we’re well versed in making the most of whatever space is available to us.

How is it best to time things?

It is best to give as much time for set up as possible, the whole event runs smoother if the band are able to set up and sound check before guests arrive.

Can I pick the bands playlist?

We have spent much time refining our set so that is suitable for all ages and are able to tailor our performances to specific audiences. We therefore try and keep requests to a minimum.

Where will you travel to?

Anywhere in the UK, however our overall fee will reflect our travel costs.

Can I see you play live?

We regularly play live events across London and other parts of the UK. Please email in advance for any information regarding live public events.

Will you learn our special song?

This all depends on time and notice. If you would like a request then please email us well in advance so that we have time to rehearse up to an excellent standard. We have spent years refining our set so that is suitable for all ages and are able to tailor our performances to specific audiences. We therefore try and keep requests to a minimum.

Is the video on your website a true reflection of the band?

Of course, but a live audience only helps to increase the energy and atmosphere!

How do I book you?

Are you able to DJ in between sets?

We have a playlist that we play in-between our sets, any special requests can be made before the day of the event and we can add them to the list. 

Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?

See above.

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

Yes.

What equipment do you use?

We have a full backline including top of the range amplifiers, full PA and drum kit.

Do you have lights?

Yes we do supply lights.

How long do you play for?

We are able to provide up to two hours of live music.

What time do you start and finish?

We are able start and finish at whatever time the client requests.

How long do you take to set up?

We require an hour and a half to set up and sound check before the event.

Can I provisionally book you?

You can indeed.

What if the band split up before my event?

After 10 years of playing together, this is somewhat unlikely. But we will always try and arrange a replacement for any member and will contact you well in advance if this is ever the case.

Can my sisters/bosses/daughters dog sing with your band?

If your dog can sing, then that's something we'd like to see. But yes, we encourage any member of the audience to join in, especially dogs.

What will the band wear?

For formal events we dress black trousers and smart white shirts, for more casual events we usually where jeans and t-shirts.

Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?

Yes we do & safety is paramount.

How much does it cost to book the band?

What type/size venues are you able to play at?

We are able to adapt our set to suit any size venues, from small garden events to national football stadiums.

How loud will the band be?

The band usually function at around 93db but are able to adapt this depending on the event.

What is the band power requirement?

We require four plug sockets at the stage area, we provide plenty of extension so we are largely self-sufficient.

Do The Courts offer any additional services?

They may well do...please get in contact if you wish for additional services.
